Poetry
Poetry is considered by many to be one of the most highly stylistic forms of artistic expression, which typically maintains a particular structure and rhythm and seemingly more imaginative than ordinary speech. During this four week course, several poems are discussed from many different time periods in attempt to understand the moods and thoughts of the men and women who wrote them. At the end of the course, the program participant will have an opportunity to write a poem and share their poem with the class. All poems will be typed on special paper. The purpose of the course is to give its participants a creative way to express themselves.
